Cecilia is the creative visionary and linguistic expert behind Essence Translations. With more than 25 years of industry experience, a degree in Translation, and a graduate degree in Spanish Linguistics, she has mastered the art of cultural translations while also adapting to regional variations. In addition to English and Spanish, she is also fluent in Portuguese and Italian. Outside of work, she’s an avid painter, and chef who loves to throw dinner parties with friends.

Leading teams, delegating responsibilities, managing schedules, supervising translation quality, and coaching with the perfect amount of motivation – Federico is a master at his craft. Federico is a certified translator, an English language teacher, and Italian speaker, who specializes in scientific and literary translations. He’s always up for a challenge, and he’s passionate about helping other linguists sharpen their skills. Time spent reading and with his new puppy make life even sweeter.

From her very first English lesson, Fiama was hooked. Her curious, inquisitive personality led her to pursue a lifelong passion for language, translation, and travel. (The UK and Greece are at the top of her wanderlust list!) She has more than five years of experience as a translator, editor, and proofreader, but has discovered that her skills are even better suited to project management. Fiama organizes projects and empowers our team to achieve the best results.

Victoria's passion for languages sparked at age 5, when she first asked her mum to enroll her in English lessons. With an International Relations background, she brings a global perspective to project management, fostering cultural sensitivity and kindness as core principles. Outside of the translation world, she enjoys singing and finds balance through yoga, a practice that has become her anchor. Initiative-taking and change-seeker, she is continually looking for enhancements that streamline operations and elevate quality of life.
